To combat the mechanical monsters waging terrorist attacks around the world, Dr. Yajima creates a giant robot, the Mechanical Lady. However, the system faces a dilemma because it requires the pilot's brain to be integrated with the system, which would also injure the pilot. It is then decided that Megumi Asakura of the Earth Defense Force will be the pilot.
